Insurance

Counseling SDC believes in the empowerment and freedom of clients to see a mental health professional without third party intervention. 

We accept LYRA EAP, OPTUM UNITED HEALTH, OPTUM EAP. Please see our information with openpathcollective.org for information about sessions with Counseling SDC for reduced fees between $30-$60.

If you plan to request reimbursement from your insurance, please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

We recommend asking questions to make sure your insurance will reimburse you for services outside of their network and after they are performed.

• Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
• Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
• Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

Counseling SDC accepts cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is required prior to session.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
